Michael Aaron McClure was born in 1974, as a second of three sons, to Don and Jean McClure. Michael grew up in the ministry with his dad serving as Pastor of Calvary Chapel Lake Arrowhead, Calvary Chapel Redlands, and Calvary Chapel San Jose!

As a young boy, Michael’s older brother led him to Christ at the age of three. Throughout his childhood Michael, like Samuel of old, learned to hear God’s voice through His Spirit, meditating on the Bible and fellowship in Christ! Early on in his life, the Lord spoke to Michael, calling him to be like Daniel and to live a life “set apart” for Him!

God’s call on Michael's life, to full time ministry, was a gradual one. Michael’s went to Calvary Chapel Bible College and then graduated from San Jose State in June 1999 with a MS Degree.

In 2001, after working in the high tech industry in the Valley, Michael answered God’s call to help his father minister at Calvary Chapel San Jose. A year and a half later, Michael’s father walked him around the church parking lot and told him he was leaving, and that God was calling him to minister to His sheep in a greater capacity!

As Michael went to prayer, overwhelmed by this new responsibility, God spoke to him, “My power is made perfect in weakness.” So Michael, in obedience, answered God’s call! Now to his joy and delight!

As a Pastor, Michael desires to see people walking victorious lives in Christ, through reading the Word of God, fellowshipping with Christ in prayer, and living by His Spirit! His messages are verse by verse and always center on the power of the cross in ones life!

Michael’s life has unfolded before his eyes. Psalms 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart”

As he has delighted in His Savior, God has blessed him with a gracious church family, loving wife, Brenda, of fifteen years and six precious children!
